Ginger Ground

Ginger has long been a part of European, Asian, African, Russian, and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some botanists believe that Ginger is native to China but others believe it is indigenous to India. Our Ginger ground is sourced directly from India. Ground ginger is a prime ingredient in ginger-ale, gingersnaps, and beer. It goes well in pumpkin-pie, pound-cake and applesauce along with a dash of cinnamon. This ginger product is great in tea or hot milk but can also taste great in an Indian Spice Blend. Mix it with cardamom, cinnamon and coriander to enhance the flavor of basmati rice to be served with curries. Other great applications include stir-fry, pickles, rice dishes, vegetable stews, pickles, or mulled wine. Along with its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger can also aid in digestion and bloating.
